Electrical support for businesses

We work with business owners, property managers, office tenants and commercial landlords, who need electrical work done in sync with their business. Our aim is to be an asset not a disruption.

Following a 250A upgrade 5 years ago, and a strong growth curve for the company since, we are currently undertaking a 630A power upgrade to a manufacturing facility in Perth. The planning, power metering, onsite conversations regarding design, and timing has been the most important part of the job and the seamless completion of this next phase will be testemant to that.

Most of what we do outside of these larger upgrades is small to medium commercial: manufacturing facilities, offices, retail tenancies, warehouses, workshops, salons, and cafes.

What we cover

Commercial installations and upgrades

From an LED lighting upgrade, power metering, and additional circuits, right through to upgrading the mains power to the entire lot, we aim to be your support.

Commercial installations

New power installations and additional circuits to support changing business requirements.

Commercial lighting

LED conversions across offices, retail floors and warehouse space, staged around your trading.

Power analytics

Metering is a key component of growth planning. We can integrate a full suite of metering so that you have full access.

Fit-out support

Lighting, power, data cabling and switchboards as part of an office or retail fit-out.

Scheduled maintenance

Planned visits so faults get found before trading hours rather than during them.

Fault finding

When best intentions and good planning don't quite cut it, feel free to call and we'll figure it out

Maintenance

The cost is rarely the repair, it is the disruption

Things go wrong in commercial premises at inconvenient times. We handle reactive repairs, fault finding on power and lighting circuits, switchboard issues, failed fittings, and the intermittent faults that are hard to catch. We will advise on upgrades before the problem arises.

Regular maintenance is not glamorous, but it reduces unplanned downtime and it catches the things that turn into bigger problems, such as loose terminations, overloaded circuits and fittings at the end of their life.

Response — Fault finding and reactive repairs
Ongoing — Power analytics and maintenance
Covers — Offices, retail, warehouse and manufacturing

How we work on site

Working cleanly and carefully

We tell you what is happening

You know what is being done and when power will be affected, before it happens.

We work around your trading

Where the job allows it, we plan the sequence so we are not shutting down more than we need to.

We keep the area contained

The work zone stays tidy while we are on site, and we clean up properly before we leave.

Careful planning

We would rather spend the time getting the sequence right than disrupt more of the premises than necessary.

Licensed and insured

All work carried out by licensed electricians to the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules.

Documented on completion

An electrical safety certificate for your records, which matters at lease end, sale and insurance time.

Compliance

Certification and the paperwork that follows

Commercial electrical work carries its own obligations. Equipment installation, emergency lighting, and safety switch requirements in workplaces are covered under workplace safety legislation rather than the residential rules, and the requirements depend on the type of premises and how it is used.

On completion of installing work, a licensed electrical contractor issues an electrical safety certificate to the person who requested the work, and lodges paperwork with the network operator. You get documentation for your records.
