Jay Rawlings has worked as an electrician for more than twenty years, starting in the UK before moving to Western Australia. He has worked across mining, oil & gas, construction and maintenance, the kind of environments where the consequences of getting it wrong are immediate, and brought that standard back to domestic and commercial work when he started contracting in Perth in 2016.
He founded Lifetime Electrics on a simple idea: electrical work should be done once, done properly, and last the life of the property. In practice that means planning rather than guessing, checking switchboard capacity before adding load, and communicating effectively so that the customers wants become the customers results .

Having spent many years in the trade working alongside other tradesman, builders, business owners, and the public, Jay has developed a sense of what is needed across all aspects of the work Lifetime undertakes.
As a contractor Jay has completed large scale residential renovations, medium and large commercial upgrades, construction projects including data centre construction, custom lighting installations, and just about anything you can think to install in your home.
Jay handles the quoting himself, which means the person pricing the job is the person on site doing it.
